SW Mobile Car Valeting LTD, trading as SW Car Care, is a mobile automotive services company based in Bridgend, South Wales (CF31 4HW). We provide mobile valeting and detailing, SMART repairs and ECU remapping.

When you book a valet or remap, request a SMART Repair quote, create an account or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, mobile number, address or location for the appointment, vehicle details (including registration, make, model and photos of damage you upload) and the content of messages you send us, including through the website chat.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

We also keep records of your bookings, quotes, invoices and reviews so we can run and account for the service.

We use your details to provide the service: confirming and managing your bookings and quotes, sending appointment reminders and updates by email and text message, taking payment, issuing invoices, and responding to your enquiries.

If you opt in, we may also send you service-related offers such as maintenance plan invitations. Every such message relates to your own bookings, and you can opt out at any time.

With your consent, we use the Google tag (Google Ads) to measure how our advertising performs — for example, to count when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to make a booking. This involves cookies or similar identifiers and data about how you use the site, which is shared with Google for measurement and ad optimisation purposes.

Visitors in the United Kingdom and Europe are asked for consent before these cookies are set. You can accept or reject from the consent banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer — the change takes effect immediately. Withdrawing consent never affects the service you receive, and ad clicks and impressions are still counted in aggregate either way.

We share data only where needed to run the service: Google (advertising measurement, with consent), our payment provider (taking payment), our email and text message providers (sending you confirmations, reminders and updates), and our hosting and database providers (storing the site and its records). We do not sell your personal data.

We keep booking, quote and invoice records for as long as needed to run the service and meet our legal and tax obligations (normally six years for financial records). Chat transcripts and enquiry messages are kept for up to twelve months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

You have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To use any of these rights, or to withdraw consent for advertising cookies, email connor.swmv@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
